Arthroscopic Labral Debridement

Arthroscopic labral debridement may be indicated when labral tears are very small and are causing catching or locking of the shoulder joint. Using an arthroscope which is inserted into the shoulder joint, slim instruments are used to cut out loose parts of the labrum, smoothen frayed edges and remove debris or necrotic tissue from within the shoulder joint.
